What a writing adventure
I’m going to be taking in the coming months as the Sin Series keeps on
rolling along. What’s the Sin Series? It started in the year 2000 with the
release of my first romance suspense novel, Sin.
In Sin ,
Reverend Nedra
Davis–a minister renowned for her anti–drug activism–falls for the handsome
and mysterious Sinclair Reasoner, who, unknown to her is involved in the drug
trade. This controversial and critically acclaimed novel is being re-released in June
2008.
Sinful Intentions is the
sequel to Sin. Selected in 2007 by Blackrefer.com as the Romance Suspense
Novel of the Year, Sinful Intentions follows Nedra and Sinclair as they
engage in the struggle of their lives against a psychopath who threatens
to destroy their family. Sinful Intentions was selected as a read by the
Black Expressions Book Club. You will find excerpts from both novels on the

The next installment of the Sin Series
is titled Singing a Song...In this one Nedra’s cousin, a singing superstar takes center
stage when the singer falls in love with a famous actor who is marked for death by a killer
obsessed with the beautiful songbird. Singing a Song... is scheduled for release in January 2009.
Meanwhile, the Grandmothers,
Incorporated book series that I write with fellow author, L. Barnett Evans,
is about to step into the spotlight again. The second installment of the comedy
fiction novels about three “sixty-something” year old widows who fancy themselves
as being amateur detectives will be released in 2008. The title of the latest novel
is Grandmothers, Incorporated: Whose Knife is it Anyway? Like its predecessor
the book follows the escapades of the three unlikely heroines as they turn
the lives of everyone around them upside down in their hilarious pursuit for justice.
